Benefits of Using Electric Shavers

By Jason Korwin

electric shaver benefits The benefits of using electric shavers are many. They are a great alternative to manual shaving. First of all, water and shaving foam are not needed – the only requirements are electric power of some form (batteries are fine if you don’t have a power plug nearby) and a cleaner to get rid of old hairs. An added benefit of electric shaving is that you will almost never cut yourself, as electric shavers have special covers allowing you to shave without any extra pain!

Disposable shavers require time and money to use. Aside from not having to apply shaving cream or aftershave when using an electric shaver, you’ll also save quite a lot of money by not having to purchase these products every week. While shaving cream and aftershave are not too expensive, the cost of disposable shavers can really add up! If you’re shaving on a budget, purchasing an electric shaver might be the way to go. Although an electric shaver might require a fair bit of initial outlay, consumables costs for electric shavers are low. The cost of mains power is negligible, and if you buy a fancy shaver, you might not have to worry about buying shaver cleaners or sharpeners ever again!

Electric shavers are also great for those with a skin condition that causes discomfort when using a regular razor. If you frequently find yourself struggling with ingrown hairs or have trouble with acne, an electric shaver might be the solution for you. Some of us just can’t use a regular razor due to sensitive skin – if you don’t mind paying a bit more initially for the electric shaver, you’ll find that shaving becomes a lot more comfortable and much less expensive!

Electric shavers also come with the added convenience of not having to get your face wet to remove hair. Right before you head out to a social event, the last thing you want to do is throw water on your face and possibly even ruin that outfit you took hours to perfect! Electric shavers save time in that there is no need to wet your face, use shaving cream or even use aftershave.

Electric shavers come with a variety of special features, and therefore the price you pay for an electric shaver will vary significantly. Buying shavers for as little as $25 is possible, and top-of-the-line razors can go for as much as $700. The great thing about electric shavers is that when the blades go dull, there’s no need to discard the whole unit as with disposable razors – replacement blades are available for a fraction of the cost of the shaving unit.
