A long time ago I bought the
Philips Norelco 7340 Men’s Shaving System as a gift for my brother and he lent it to me during a camping trip, hence this short review. This shaver is comfortable and easy to use. First of all, the
Reflex Action System that the heads are based on matches the shape of my face perfectly.
Individually floating heads also match themselves to my face, giving a close shave with little hassle. The
precision cutting system makes use of holes and slots to get hair of multiple lengths.
My girlfriend got me the
Philips Norelco 8020X Moisturizing Shaving System for my birthday. She was all excited about the
Nivea For Men Conditioner Dispensing System that is built in. I’ll admit I was a little skeptical at first, but after giving it a try I’m hooked. It’s one of the most comfortable shaves I’ve ever had. The
flex tracker head follows all the contours of my face, shaving very closely and comfortably.
Glide rings help the shaver move more smoothly over my skin.
My job requires me to be clean shaven, so I use my
Philips Norelco 1280X/42 SensoTouch 3D Electric Shaver every morning. This shave has exactly what I need to keep my face smooth and stubble-free. First of all, its
GyroFlex 3D Heads are able to match every contour of my face while the
SkinGlide shaving surface slides smoothly, giving me a very close shave without becoming uncomfortable.
I’m a big fan of electric shavers. They’re portable, they’re convenient and most importantly they’ve now improved to the point where some models can deliver a shave that’s just as close as a standard razor and cream. One of those is the
Philips Norelco 1150x/40 SensoTouch 2d Electric Shaver, which is my new best friend. I’ve gone through dozens of different electric rotary shavers from all the major brands but have hard trouble finding a rotary shaver that did really well until I came across the Philips Norelco SensoTouch rotary shavers.
I’ll admit it, for years I hated electric shavers because they never seemed to give me the kind of smooth, close shave I was looking for. But now that they’ve improved dramatically, I find myself using them exclusively. But there’s one problem: many of them still suck! I’ve been through dozens of makes and models from Braun, Panasonic, Remington and others before finally settling on the Philips Norelco 1250cc/42 SensoTouch 3d Electric Shaver with Jet Clean System.
I’ve been using the
Philips Norelco 7810XL Men’s Shaving System for over a year and I think it deserves a little review so here I am. I’ve been through quite a few electric shavers over the years, and now I believe I’ve finally found one that’s as close to perfect as I’m ever going to get. I’ll go over the specs for this model very quickly and then share my thoughts after having used this as my daily shaver for the past few months.
I quite like the particular design of the
Philips Norelco Speed 8240XL Men’s Shaving System, and it’s certainly unique to Philips. I’d used an older Norelco a few years back and found it “okay”, but had since switched back to the regular water and razor. But, a few years had passed and I could see that changes were coming about so I thought I’d give the electric razor another shot!
The
Philips Norelco HS8420 Nivea for Men Razor is actually the exact sort of thing I’d usually neglect as a gimmick, what with it’s built in lotion dispenser that you have to refill continuously. But, shaving has never really been a pleasurable experience for me and always more of a chore, so I thought “what the heck”, may be this is exactly what I need!
After trying some complex shavers with lots of bells and whistles, I decided I wanted something a little simpler. The
Philips Norelco 6940 Reflex Action Men’s Shaving System definitely fit the bill. The price was right, but at the same time I’ve been getting a fantastic shave from it. Its patented
Reflex Action System adjusts to the shape of my face, while its
Super Lift and Cut Technology shaves below skin level.
The
Philips Norelco 7310XL Men’s Shaving System is surprisingly affordable for a razor of this design, so I almost wasn’t really expecting much when I bought it. Never the less, it was still an actual Philips model, so I knew it had potential.
And on the whole, I must say, I love this thing! It feels of surprisingly good quality despite the low price and is very comfortable to hold. As far as the overall shave goes, it’s very, very close. It’s not quite as close as a regular manual blade, but it’s not far off. It’s perfectly acceptable. The actual shave time is incredibly quick as it generally cuts all the hair with one pass. I’m very happy on that front.
